Anna Berezina
Founding Editor
Anna enjoys reading, fashion, cooking, skiing, taking long walks and going out to way-too-expensive swanky bars.Once upon a time, in one of those bars, Anna and her friend Sara came up with an idea of a magazine for young “unaffiliated” Jewish women. The opportunity seemed too good to pass on. Anna Berezina was born and raised in Novosibirsk, Russia. She’s received her law degree from Novosibirsk University of Economics and Management in 2003. Since moving to the US she’s been working for Hillel: Foundation for Jewish life on campus, and now holds a position of the Director of Outreach and Engagement at Hillel at Brandeis University. To invite Anna for a glass of wine and talk about Jewish women, or to send her cookies and gourmet cheese, email her at ShebrewMagazine@gmail.com
Sara-Rivka Davidson
Assistant Editor
Sara-Rivka was born and raised in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. She holds a bachelor’s degree in pyschology from Simmons College in Boston, and a professional master’s in journalism from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. When not writing for Shebrew, she works in the Listener and Member Services Department at WNYC Public Radio. She loves coffee, Brooklyn, dancing, queers, reading, radio, and Australia. She wants to be a radio producer. She can be reached at ShebrewMagazine@gmail.com
