Fall Fabulous!

By Anna Berezina

Sephora nail color in Deep Berry Burgundy, Black or Deep Chocolate Brown.

With its rich amber, red and orange hues fall is the perfect season for pale skin, as it glows beautifully against the vibrant colors. Throw out that self-tanner you swore by in the summer, and go au-natural. And by au-natural I mean, spend your time (and money) on skincare, use just concealer if you need it, and hold your head up high!

Now, onto clothes.

1. Tights. Textured, colored, footless – they’re all amazing. Wear them with sandals, boots or peep-toes. Don’t be afraid to mix bright colors together – just keep the rest of the outfit single-hued.

2. Plum. Plum and purple are IT this fall, pick up a scarf, t-shirt or a bag in these unexpected colors. Plum looks delightfully girlie when paired with pale pink, and pops against pumpkin orange.

3. Boxy jackets – a little tricky, and possibly not for everyone, but so gorgeous! Layer with long tees and sweaters, and keep the fullness on the top, by wearing them with skinny jeans or a pencil skirt.

4. SKINNY JEANS. Perhaps the most talked-about the most-hated comeback. I say, it’s all about how you rock them!

5. Riding boots – flat and super-comfy.

6. Layering: long-sleeve thermal + t-shirt + camisole + cardigan + denim jacket = glam 2006. Mix colors, fabrics and textures.

7. High waist pants. Now, this is what we’ve all been wishing for while catching another unwanted glimpse at someone’s thong. Wide-leg high-waisted pants are more flattering than they sound, so give them a try. One thing, though – avoid pleats at all costs.

All for now. Be good!
